2008 Golf Invitational
The tournament is played as a 4 person scramble and kicks off with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. (registration and pro-tips begin at 9:30 a.m.). Prizes will be awarded for men's and ladies longest drive and closest to the pin and lowest team score. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at Greystone Golf & Banquet Center in Washington Twp. The tournament will be followed by a cocktail reception, award ceremony, raffles, 50/50 and more! Annual State of the Community Sponsors
Chamber's Annual State of the Community Luncheon on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Ford Romeo Engine Plant from 11:00am to 1:30 pm. This informational event is open to residents, business owners and community leaders. Panelists will include Dr. Al Lorenzo, President, Macomb Community College; Shaun Whitehead, Plant Manager, Ford Romeo Engine Plant; Sheriff Mark A. Hackel, Macomb County Sheriff's Office; Barbara Rossmann, President & CEO Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals; Adam Stachecki, Representative for Congresswoman Candice Miller's Office; Dave Widlak, President, Community Central Bank. Guests will have an opportunity to take a free tour of the engine plant at the end of the event.
