Starkweather Arts Center Presents
Watercolor Essentials:
A Good Sense Approach! This workshop is designed as an intense
introduction for beginners and people who want to
develop a good sense approach to painting with
watercolors.
This is not a “how-to-do” watercolor technique
seminar, rather this presentation is an in-depth
lecture and demo approach to the selecting,
purchasing, and proper use of materials, brush and
color applications, and most importantly, learning
to think in a watercolor mode.
This workshop will consist of two, two-hour
sessions, on consecutive days.
If you really want to get started “correctly” with one
of the most difficult of artistic mediums and save
yourself a lot $$$ and artistic frustration, this class
will provide you with the why and what you need to
know about watercolors.
This is an adult level class for ages 16 & up. The
cost is $30.00 and will run on June 25th & 26th
from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The class space is limited so call Starkweather Arts
Center to reserve your seat for Mr. Fionda’s class. Join Michigan
watercolorist and art
educator, Robert Fionda,
in a fore right discussion of
the nature of watercolor as
artistic media. Students will need to bring
a notebook and an open,
passionate mind... have no
fear of making Art. Starkweather Arts Center
