Washington Days! Sunday, June 1st through Sunday June 8th – A week long celebration! Super Sunday, June 1st will include the Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast, Arts-n-Crafts show, Kid’s inflatable ride and games area. Youth BINGO, Shows, Outdoor Home & Garden Show, Concessions and more! Main Events set up between West Road and 26 Mile. Wednesday, June 4th join us for Concert Night, Picnic and a Fitness Walk & Health Event located in Washington Twp Park. Thursday, June 5th through Sunday, June 8th will be Washington’s 1st ever Carnival including rides, games, chicken BBQ, Vegas Night and more and Washington Lion’s Summer Fest! June 1, 2008, from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, Washington Township Firefighter & Senior Center’s Pancake Breakfast, located in the Washington Township Senior Center in the Washington Township Municipal Building, located at 57900 Van Dyke, the Washington Township Fire Department and Senior Center Pancake Breakfast $7.00 for adults, $4 for Children and children 5 and under eat for free. Come share the morning with us, this will be the same great Pancake Breakfast Washington Township has enjoyed for over 50 years previously held at our fire station. Breakfast will be served by members of the Washington Township Fire Department, local seniors, Washington Township Board of Trustees, along with other volunteers. The breakfast will have the same great taste just a new location in the Washington Township Senior Center. The Fire Department will have some of our beautiful fire trucks on display for the kids and families to enjoy. Come on out enjoy breakfast with your fire department, local seniors and Washington Township Board of Trustees, a wonderful way to spend the morning.

Sunday June 1, 2008, from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Washington Days 2008, events held in downtown Washington Township along Van Dyke. Start your morning at the Pancake Breakfast and stay the day with us. Many events and activities will fill the day and our beautiful community; the Washington Historical Museum will open its doors to allow each of us to experience the wonderful heritage of this community and our country. Vendors, crafters, and various other booths fill the front yard of the historical museum presenting visitors with items for your home, gifts and delectable treats. The township hall will be alive with activities indoors and outdoors. Inflatable rides, petting zoo, exotic animals and kid’s activities fill the township hall and surrounding property. The Octagon House also opens its doors and our eyes to history and a walk back in time. Come share friendship, history and community with old friends while creating great family memories.
